During peak times, 3 night stays begin on a Friday, 4 night stays begin on a Monday and 7 night stays begin on a Monday or Friday. At other times of year and midweek, it is a 2 night minimum stay.

Please treat all bookings as provisional until we send you confirmation via email. We require a non-refundable 30% deposit (or full payment) of the cost of your stay to secure a booking. Bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before your stay. If the booking is less than 8 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required.
We accept payments by debit or credit card online at the time of your booking. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque or bank transfer. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after we have received the deposit (or full payment). Under the Oak Glamping reserves the right to re-let the accommodation and retain the deposit, if the balance is not paid by the due date. We will of course attempt to contact you to remind you of the due date. Under the Oak Glamping only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age. Under the Oak Glamping reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.
The prices featured on the website are not binding; Under the Oak Glamping reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding.
Damages Deposit
A damages deposit of £200 applies to all bookings. For larger groups, booking the site exclusively, a deposit of £500 will apply. The damages deposit is to cover any costs to Under the Oak Glamping for damage, breakages, missing items or extra cleaning required after a stay. Providing there are no major problems we return your damages deposit within 48 hours of your departure. The deposit will be refunded back to the card you originally paid with, it takes up to 5 working days after refund to be processed by your card holder.
Arrival
Please advise us of your intended arrival time and if possible update us en-route. Check-in starts at 4pm but if we are ahead of schedule we will endeavour to let you know. Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive no later than 7pm.
When you arrive, follow the signs to the parking area then go to reception. One of us will be along to show you to your accomodation. We provide wheelbarrows for the short distance from the parking area to the lodges. We will be on hand to assist should you have any problems in unpacking and getting your possessions to your lodge. Guests are requested to vacate their lodge by 10 am on the date of their departure.
Cancellations
The 30% deposit payable upon booking is non refundable. If you cancel your stay within 8 weeks of your arrival we will endeavour to re-let your accommodation. If we can re-let then we will refund any money paid, minus the deposit. If we are unable to do so, then we regret that we will be unable to refund any monies paid. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us, by you, within 14 days of notifying you.
We do not accept single sex groups of more than 2 people. Single sex groups of more than 2 people will be turned away and no refund given.
Day visitors are welcome. Please inform us of their arrival in advance so we can agree parking arrangements. We also need their contact details, should we, in the case of an emergency, need to know who is on site. All visitors must leave the site by 10pm.
Whilst on site
We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others. Smoking is not permitted at any time within or in the immediate vicinity or the safari tents, farm buildings, honesty shop or on the verandas. Please do not leave fires unattended.
By booking and coming to Under the Oak you agree to be responsible for your children and animals and children or animals in your care, and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to facilities and the safari lodges. Children and pets must be supervised at all times near the pond, which is unfenced.
Use of the facilities at Under the Oak is the responsibility of the guest and is done so at their own risk.
Under the Oak Glamping accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to your property that may arise from your stay.
